A hot summer matinee at the AT&T Ball Park is unexpectedly enjoyable. We stood right behind the left outfield. Blazing sun outside, it was pretty cool inside with breeze sweeping to the cove. We were very much in the game.

No hits through 3rd, with a couple of defensive gems, a diving catch by left fielder Maxwell and a backhand stop and long throw by shortstop Crawford. Bottom of 4th, Blanco led off with a hit, and moved to 2nd with a rare sacrifice fly to center. 2 hitters later, Pence hit a homerun. Next inning, pitcher Bumgarner hit RBI double. That's not the end of story. He added a homer later. Wow.

Still, that's not the end of story ...
